For the best result, prep is key. Here’s your simple checklist:
• Exfoliate the night before (or morning of)
• Shave 24 hours beforehand
• Avoid heavy moisturisers, deodorant, and makeup on the day
• Wear loose, dark clothing for after your appointment
• Remove jewellery if possibleDon’t worry, you’ll also receive personalised prep instructions before your appointment.

Whatever you’re comfortable in: underwear, nipple covers, a thong or nothing at all. Tan lines? Your choice!

Yes, many pregnant clients tan safely, especially for events and weddings. If you’re in your first trimester, please check with your GP before booking.

Yes — steer clear of:
• Perfume or body sprays
• Deodorant
• Heavy lotions
• Spray deodorant or aerosols
• Makeup
These can all create barriers on the skin.
Before Your Appointment

About 20–25 minutes from setup to finish. Bridal and first-time clients may take slightly longer, I never rush.

Just enough room for the tanning tent to open, about the size of a small shower enclosure. A well-lit area with a nearby socket is perfect.

During Your Appointment

• Express tan: 1–4 hours (depending on desired depth)

• Avoid long hot showers
• Pat dry (don’t rub)
• Use gentle body wash
• Avoid oils and exfoliantsFollow these and your tan will fade beautifully and evenly.

Typically 5–10 days, depending on your skin, lifestyle and aftercare. Bridal and regular clients both get longevity tips tailored to their schedule.
After Your Appointment

Yes. A trial ensures your wedding-day colour is perfect, photographs beautifully, and matches your dress, makeup and overall look.

No. With proper timing, showering, and aftercare, the tan will not transfer onto your gown — even the lightest ivory shades.

Yes. I specialise in bridal tanning, which means the colour is customised to your undertones and dress so it looks flawless both in person and on camera.
